Lookbook: Georgia
A late October story, inspired by Georgia O’Keeffe.
A feeling of loneliness by a cold sea.
Fabrics tenderly wrap our bodies into darkness as we turn towards winter.
The fading light is held by tiny sculptures, wrought in shining silver, that adorn us.
For this collection, I looked to the life of Georgia O’Keeffe, and the incredible synergy between the sculptural florals and spirals in her work, and those of mid-century Danish silversmith Georg Jensen. I paired authentic Georg Jensen pieces - true heirlooms and collectors items - with sterling and pearl brooches made in the spirit of his iconic designs.
This story was photographed on a mix of film and digital media on location in Cape Elizabeth, Maine.
